WOMEN'S CLAY X-LOOP T-SHIRT

Tecnifibre, the French brand born from a patented technological innovation on stringing, announces the launch of its X-LOOP range: the very first fully recycled and recyclable technical T-shirt, designed from used polyester tennis strings.

Since its creation in 1979, Tecnifibre has distinguished itself through its unique technical expertise in racket sports, supporting world-renowned tennis players such as Iga Swiatek, Daniil Medvedev, Danielle Collins and Alexander Bublik.

Today, in order to strengthen its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, Tecnifibre is committed to using its expertise to develop more responsible products. The launch of X-LOOP is a concrete example of these commitments and the result of collaborative work with the brand's European partners.

In collaboration with its string supplier in Wervicq-Sud (Nord), its stores, and partner tennis tournaments such as the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, Tecnifibre collects production offcuts and end-of-life strings. Infinite Athletic, also a partner of the brand, then takes over, transforming the used strings into small pellets, which are then spun into yarn to be used in the manufacture of these ultra-lightweight, durable, and breathable technical T-shirts.

Tecnifibre's first product launch was designed with the aim of reducing its environmental impact.
This technical t-shirt is 100% made from recycled polyester, half of which comes from tennis strings.
Beyond manufacturing the product, Tecnifibre is committed to creating a collection program for used polyester ropes, from all brands.
In 2024, the collection was launched in France with around twenty specialist tennis stores equipped with collection points: a real revolution for the brand and for the tennis market!
Technically, it's the lightest t-shirt designed by the brand, in a soft and comfortable knit against the skin.
This material is resistant thanks to the anti-abrasion properties of the ropes and breathable: no chemical treatment is used.
Only a natural antibacterial treatment is applied to the material, based on silver ions to prevent the proliferation of sweat bacteria that cause bad odors.
In terms of design, the graphics are blended into the material, with a gradient pattern that celebrates the Tecnifibre emblem.
