How to choose your grip size
The most accurate method for choosing the correct grip size is to measure the distance between the tip of your ring finger and the center of your palm. This measurement corresponds to the appropriate grip size, defined by a diameter (see table).

If you are between two handle sizes, it is recommended to choose the smaller one. It is easier to add thickness to a handle using an overgrip, whereas the reverse is difficult to do.

In general :
- For men: sizes 2 or 3, or even 4 or 5.
- For women: sizes 1 or 2.
- For teenagers: sizes 1 or 2.
- For children under 11 years old: grip 0.

Playing with the TECNIFIBRE TEMPO TEAM 270g Blue Adult tennis racket means playing with a tennis racket made partly from recycled graphite sourced from the aerospace industry!

The TEMPO range is designed to unlock female players’ full tennis potential with our specialist technology, X-SHORT.
The length of the racket has been optimised to improve manoeuvrability and to make it easier to accelerate your swing. As a result, you get increased speed and spin, with performance measured using the TrackMan radar.

In an innovative feature for this new release, we’ve recycled graphite from the aerospace industry to reuse it in the racket. A premium material that delivers exceptional on-court performance whilst also reducing the racket’s carbon and environmental footprint.

To achieve this impressive feat, TECNIFIBRE has partnered with FAIRMAT, a company that collects and processes production waste from the aerospace industry into high-performance graphite strips. On average, the quality of these strips is superior to that of standard industrial graphite: they offer enhanced strength, rigidity and stability. The residue is incorporated directly into the racket frame, containing between 15 and 20% recycled graphite by weight relative to the virgin carbon fibre.

Plus, this leads to a 14.4% reduction in the carbon footprint and a 15.8% reduction in the environmental impact across the racket’s entire life cycle (versus the Tempo 270 2024)*.

How do I choose the right weight for my tennis racket?

Choose a lightweight racket (less than 280g) if you’re looking for a maneuverable racket that allows for a fast, volley-oriented game. They’re also a good option for players with arm injuries.

Choose a heavier racket (over 300g) if you have a muscular build and are looking for power for a baseline game.

You can also opt for intermediate weights (290–300g) for a versatile game.

What grip size should I choose for my racquet?

It’s better to choose a grip that’s too small, since you can always add an overgrip (+0.5 to +1 size) to adjust the size.

Our rackets come with a 2-year warranty. However, this warranty does not apply in cases of improper use.

What kind of string should I choose for my tennis racket?

Choosing the right string is almost as important as choosing the right racquet. It affects power, control, comfort, and spin.

Here’s how to choose:
Monofilament strings provide more control. They’re more durable and are chosen by players who frequently break their strings. They’re ideal for powerful players.

Multifilament strings, which are more elastic, provide power. Their flexibility is also known for its ability to absorb shock and thus prevent muscle soreness. This type of string is ideal for protecting young players from injury. It’s also well-suited for adult recreational or intermediate players.

Why do some products have an X-Loop label?

Products bearing the X-Loop label are made from recycled polyester. Tecnifibre collects used strings from retail partners. These strings are then processed into yarns used to manufacture ultra-lightweight, durable, and breathable technical textiles.
