Size Guide - Rackets

How to choose your grip size
The most accurate method for choosing the correct grip size is to measure the distance between the tip of your ring finger and the center of your palm. This measurement corresponds to the appropriate grip size, defined by a diameter (see table).

If you are between two handle sizes, it is recommended to choose the smaller one. It is easier to add thickness to a handle using an overgrip, whereas the reverse is difficult to do.

In general :
- For men: sizes 2 or 3, or even 4 or 5.
- For women: sizes 1 or 2.
- For teenagers: sizes 1 or 2.
- For children under 11 years old: grip 0.

Avantages
  • Powerful ergonomics
  • Unique X-DAMP Technology
  • Maneuverability and Spin
Description

The FIRE 255 White and Yellow 645cm² TECNIFIBRE Adult tennis racket has been designed to bring power and comfort thanks to a unique technology: the X-DAMP.

In the FIRE range, this is the lightest, suitable for young competitors and ideal as a first adult racket.

A robust frame design and an open 16x19 string pattern generate maximum power. Weighing in at just 255g, it's incredibly lightweight for maximum maneuverability. A perfect choice for hitting winning shots while refining your technique.

To generate power, all rackets are designed with a rigid frame; the goal is for the frame to remain perfectly still upon impact for maximum energy transfer. However, this frame rigidity also generates more vibrations, which can be harmful to the arms. Tecnifibre's unique solution: X-Damp, a technology developed with TecniLab, solves the vibration problem and provides maximum comfort.
How does it work? A steel piece is placed in an elastomer pocket at the handle to move in opposition to each ball impact. The result: 36% less harmful vibration for the arm and less fatigue.

Additional tip from Tecnifibre: the lighter a racket is, the more vibrations it will generate, and these are generally used by younger players. X-DAMP technology is therefore an effective solution for hitting hard while protecting young players.

Compared to the previous range, the new FIRE 255 Adult tennis racket is a significant performance upgrade!

Firstly, the ergonomics of the frame sections have been revised to be more square in shape and 5% thinner to provide more stability and control of power.

Next, the weight distribution was modified to align with modern tennis trends. The weight was redistributed from the extremities towards the center of the frame to reduce swingweight and facilitate racket head acceleration.

Maximum power and maneuverability make it the perfect racket that meets the demands of the modern tennis player!

To push performance even further, the shape of the handle has been refined. The aim is to improve feel for the edges to facilitate grip changes.

In the end, the FIRE 255 White and Yellow 645cm² TECNIFIBRE Adult tennis racket is the ideal product for modern tennis, powerful with unique comfort technology and ultra-maneuverable.

FAQ
