Size Guide - Racquets

How to choose your grip size
The most accurate way to choose your grip size is to measure the distance between the tip of your ring finger and the center of your palm. The measurement corresponds to the right grip size, defined by a diameter (see table).

If you are between two handle sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller one. It is easier to add thickness to a handle with an overgrip, whereas the reverse is hardly possible.

In general:
- Men: sizes 2 or 3, or even 4 or 5.
- Women: sizes 1 or 2.
- Teenagers: sizes 1 or 2.
- Children under 11: grip 0.

Benefits
  • The only range technically designed for women
  • The most powerful in the TEMPO range
  • Developed in collaboration with Iga Swiatek
Beschreibung

The TEMPO 285 645 cm² TECNIFIBRE adult tennis racquet has been designed to provide power and speed specifically for women. It is perfectly suited to competitive and regular players.

The frame's ergonomics feature reinforced sections, a 645 cm² head size, and a 16x19 string pattern. These features maximize power. The TEMPO 285 645 cm² TECNIFIBRE adult tennis racquet also incorporates ISOFLEX technology, a new frame design with progressive sections (stiffer on the shorter strings and more flexible on the longer strings) for an increased sweet spot. We've refined the bumper (racquet protection) with "Superlight Cap" technology, allowing it to be integrated into the frame and slimmed down. This lightens the racquet head for improved maneuverability.

Iga Swiatek, as a top female athlete and icon, believes she has a significant responsibility in developing women's tennis. That's why, as an ambassador for the TEMPO range, she has been heavily involved in the design of racquets with technologies specifically developed for women, and has also lent her name to a partnership dedicated to young female players, TEMPO IGA.

The Tecnifibre brand's mission is to unlock the potential of every player by offering products that combine high performance and unique elegance, all developed through the TECNILAB laboratory using the logic: Identify, Quantify, Solve.

It is through this lens that the TEMPO range was designed because, in fact, worldwide, 43% of tennis players are women who are the present and the future of the sport.

Sports brands have already understood this and have designed products dedicated to women for all sports, except… tennis where no brand has a dedicated offering apart from… TECNIFIBRE.

With the unique solution, TEMPO, the only range technically designed for women.

The result: unique technologies, a wide range with racquets adapted to every type of player. And performance proven by TrackMan (a tool for measuring racquet performance on the court) with, on average, a significant gain in maneuverability, 10% more ball spin and 33% more precision.

TEMPO, the only range technically designed for women

Women represent 43% of tennis players, and with the TEMPO range, Tecnifibre is the only brand to create racquets specifically adapted to their needs. A perfect combination of performance, maneuverability, and design to help you push your limits on the court.

X-SHORT

The racquets in the rangeTEMPOare equipped with technologyX-Short, which optimizes the length of the racquet to 67.5 cm.

This 1 cm modification increases the swing speed, thus offering better acceleration, more power and spin.

Thanks to this technology, players can develop their technical and physical skills more quickly, while improving their performance on the court.

LARGER HEAD SIZES

Some models feature larger 680 cm² or 660 cm² head sizes, offering a larger hitting area. This delivers not only more power but also better forgiveness on off-center shots.

Combined with X-Short technology, this helps you maximize your performance with more comfort and control.

FAQ
How do I choose the right weight for my tennis racquet?
Weight is an important factor in optimizing performance and comfort on the court.

Here are the criteria to consider:
- Skill level: Beginner or Intermediate/Advanced
- Physical condition
- Playing style

Choose a lightweight racquet (less than 280 g) if you’re looking for a maneuverable racquet that allows for a fast, volley-oriented game. They’re also a good option for players with arm injuries.

Choose a heavier racquet (over 300 g) if you have a muscular build and are looking for power for a baseline game.

You can also opt for intermediate weights (290–300 g) for a versatile game.
What grip size should I choose for my racquet?
Choosing the right grip size is essential for preventing injuries and improving control.

It’s better to choose a grip that’s too small, since you can always add an overgrip (+0.5 to +1 size) to adjust the size.

The most accurate way to choose a grip size is to measure the distance from the tip of your ring finger to the center of your palm. The measurement you get corresponds to the appropriate grip size, which is defined by its diameter.

The conversion chart is available in our Size Guide, located to the right of the grip size selector on the racquet’s product page.
How long is the warranty on the racquets?
Our racquets come with a 2-year warranty. However, this warranty does not apply in cases of improper use.
