Size Guide - Rackets

How to choose your grip size
The most accurate method for choosing the correct grip size is to measure the distance between the tip of your ring finger and the center of your palm. This measurement corresponds to the appropriate grip size, defined by a diameter (see table).

If you are between two handle sizes, it is recommended to choose the smaller one. It is easier to add thickness to a handle using an overgrip, whereas the reverse is difficult to do.

In general :
- For men: sizes 2 or 3, or even 4 or 5.
- For women: sizes 1 or 2.
- For teenagers: sizes 1 or 2.
- For children under 11 years old: grip 0.

Beschreibung

Maximum power and comfort with the TF-X1 270 tennis racket.

To generate power, all rackets are designed with a rigid frame; the goal is for the frame to remain perfectly still upon impact for maximum energy transfer. However, this frame rigidity also generates more vibrations, which can be harmful to the arms. Tecnifibre's unique solution: X-Damp, a technology developed with TecniLab, solves the vibration problem and provides maximum comfort.

How does it work? A steel piece is placed in an elastomer pocket in the handle to move in opposition to each ball impact. The result: 36% less harmful vibration for the arm and less fatigue. This is particularly important for lightweight rackets where vibrations are strongest and which are often played by young players whose physiques are still developing.

The frame's ergonomics have been optimized with a rounded sieve and reinforced sections to gain power and stability.

And Isoflex technology, an evolving rigidity all around the sieve, allows the sweet spot area to be widened for more forgiveness on off-center shots.

The TF-X1 270 racquet, ideal for regular players and young competitors, offers the best balance of power, comfort, and maneuverability. Weighing only 270g for an easy swing, its 645cm² head size and 16x19 string pattern deliver power and spin. An accessible racquet for improving technique and performance.

FAQ
How do I choose the right weight for my tennis racket?
Weight is an important factor in optimizing performance and comfort on the court.

Here are the criteria to consider:
- Skill level: Beginner or Intermediate/Advanced
- Physical condition
- Playing style

Choose a lightweight racket (less than 280g) if you’re looking for a maneuverable racket that allows for a fast, volley-oriented game. They’re also a good option for players with arm injuries.

Choose a heavier racket (over 300g) if you have a muscular build and are looking for power for a baseline game.

You can also opt for intermediate weights (290–300g) for a versatile game.
What grip size should I choose for my racquet?
Choosing the right grip size is essential for preventing injuries and improving control.

It’s better to choose a grip that’s too small, since you can always add an overgrip (+0.5 to +1 size) to adjust the size.

The most accurate way to choose a grip size is to measure the distance from the tip of your ring finger to the center of your palm. The measurement you get corresponds to the appropriate grip size, which is defined by its diameter.

The conversion chart is available in our Size Guide, located to the right of the grip size selector on the racket’s product page.
How long is the warranty on the rackets?
Our rackets come with a 2-year warranty. However, this warranty does not apply in cases of improper use.
