Description

The X-ONE BIPHASE string will provide you with more comfort and feel.

It offers the same benefits as gut string but without its drawbacks. It will therefore be more durable and will not react to humidity.

Available in colours: natural /red / black.

Composed of over 1400 filaments made from a technical and exclusive material:

50% Elastyl® fibers for maximum power.

50% H²C fibers for better tension resistance.

The X-ONE BIPHASE string is manufactured using a special process called "Biphase." This exclusive pre-stretching process provides superior tension retention. At the end of the string's production, it passes between two toothed wheels that rotate in opposite directions to stretch the string along its entire length. This is why it's the only string that displays a "notching" effect, meaning a natural variation in color between darker and lighter shades. The X-ONE Biphase thus offers a unique visual appearance compared to other multifilaments in the range.

The technology for manufacturing Multifilament is based on 3 essential points:

  • The quality of the technical fibers offered depends on the desired benefits.
  • The impregnation of these fibers throughout with liquid polyurethane (PU 400) to guarantee exceptional comfort and power qualities.

PU 400 is the highest elasticity grade for PU used in racket sports. This means 400% elasticity.

  • The stringing is finished with a slippery agent (SPL) to facilitate the automatic return of the string after ball impact (snap-back) to promote spin

We recommend a tension between 22 and 25 kg (maximum tension: 32 kg)

This string is intended for good level players who are demanding in terms of comfort, feel and power.

Not recommended for those who break strings frequently (< 10 hours of play).

TECNIFIBRE is the leading brand in strings, as well as the inventor of multifilament impregnated throughout with liquid polyurethane. Designed, developed, and produced in France, TECNIFIBRE multifilament is renowned and appreciated for its comfort, power, and its ability to retain its qualities over time.

Our rope factory, located in Wervicq-Sud (Northern France) for 175 years, is the largest production plant for multifilaments. All the production machines have been created and improved over the last 40 years, since the production of the first multifilament at Tecnifibre and on the market.

The Tecnifibre brand's mission is to unlock the potential of every player by offering products that combine high performance and unique elegance, all developed through the TECNILAB laboratory using the logic: Identify, Quantify, Solve.

FAQ
What kind of string should I choose for my tennis racket?
Choosing the right string is almost as important as choosing the right racquet. It affects power, control, comfort, and spin.

Here’s how to choose:
Monofilament strings provide more control. They’re more durable and are chosen by players who frequently break their strings. They’re ideal for powerful players.

Multifilament strings, which are more elastic, provide power. Their flexibility is also known for its ability to absorb shock and thus prevent muscle soreness. This type of string is ideal for protecting young players from injury. It’s also well-suited for adult recreational or intermediate players.
What is the difference between monofilament and multifilament strings?
Monofilament strings provide more control. Because they are more durable, they are chosen by players who frequently break their strings.

Multifilament strings, which are more elastic, provide more power. Their flexibility is also known for its ability to absorb shock and thus prevent muscle soreness.
How do I choose the right gauge for my racquet string?
A thinner gauge makes the string more responsive, and the shot feels crisper.
A thicker gauge provides greater strength and, therefore, greater durability for your strings.
If you break your strings often, a thicker gauge is recommended.
