PROJECT HISTORY
In 2023, Tecnifibre carried out its carbon footprint measurement using the ADEME's Diag Décarbon'action device.
This is the starting point for an action plan on its social responsibility.
X-LOOP is Tecnifibre's first product launch born from this reflection.
THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS
In collaboration with its string supplier in Wervicq-Sud (Nord), its partner stores, and tennis tournaments such as the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, Tecnifibre collects production offcuts and end-of-life strings. Infinite Athletic, also a partner of the brand, then takes over, transforming the used strings into small pellets, which are then spun into yarn used to manufacture these ultra-lightweight, durable, and breathable technical T-shirts and shorts.
X-loop T-shirts are made from 50% polyester rope and 50% plastic bottles, the equivalent of 4 tennis strings and 2 1.5L bottles.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The lightest t-shirt designed by Tecnifibre, in a soft and comfortable knit. A durable material thanks to the abrasion-resistant properties of ropes and breathable: No chemical treatment is used. Only a natural antibacterial treatment, based on silver ions, is applied to the material to prevent the proliferation of sweat bacteria that cause bad odors.
From a design perspective, the graphics are blended into the material, with a gradient pattern that celebrates the Tecnifibre emblem.
